remember the day.

この空、海、お地蔵さん。

みなが、みなのモノと思えるなら

いつまでもすたれない。おわらない。

we had and still are having on-going problem.
Sky, Sea and our gods are always watching us.
never ending.

今も活動はつづく

still going on our effort to get over it.

安心の空へ

until the day we fly in nirvana.

A place no one can get closer (Fukushima)

南相馬の海岸
波がとても穏やかでやさしかった。

A beach with no one
waves are getting closer to my heart

南相馬の山
バックミラーに写る山とその上に広がる空がまるで舞台のようで。

mountains are so close to me
and sky is like waves that I watch from beneath the sea

機械的な文字面がとても冷たくて
とても近づけないと思った

”do not get close. too high radioactive.”

お父さんは陶芸作家

海外で修行を積み、故郷福島で自分の工房を開いた

その後間もなく東北でおおきな地震が起こり、福島県の海岸沿いにある原子力発電所が爆発した

Dad is a potter
Having trained himself abroad, Dad opened his own atelier in Fukushima
right after that, it occurred an huge earthquake in north eastern Japan to cause radiation problem which has not resolved yet now.

お父さんは故郷に留まり自分の工房からコンスタントに作品を発信し続ける。
その傍ら、一般の人向けに工房での陶芸教室も行う。
イベントでの作品販売、出張ワークショップ、等精力的な活動の甲斐あって
現在、陶芸作家として立派に自立している。

地元のすてきな女性と結婚し、カワイイ子供も産まれて、お父さんはお父さんになった。

However, Dad stayed in his hometown to keep his work done
Selling his works and teaching pottery, he finally became his own master

moreover, he got married and had a little baby. Dad has become a dad.

お父さんの作品は優しい色をしたものが多い

his works have tender atmosphere, just like his hometown has

明るい工房にならぶ、さわやかマグカップ

cups in bright color in the sunlight falling in his atelier

彼の本当におおらかで、親切な性格は、先生にぴったりだろう。
人に陶芸を教えるのがとても楽しい、と本人も語っていた。
実際、山の中の彼の工房までやってくるリピーターも多いらしい。

Because of his warm, open-minded character,
he has got a talent to teach people something
"teaching pottery is so fun." just like he told me before
actually, it is said that many people come back to see him again
all the way to his atelier ( in the mountain :))

人して、陶芸作家として、今まで築いて来たもの
これから築いていくもの、が見えるこの写真が（筆者の）お気に入りだ。

ヒロ君、協力ありがとう。これからもよろしく。。

Family 01 (Fukushima)

６月に福島県の友人陶芸家の元へ

結婚、出産後は初めて会う友人一家

とても仲の良い夫婦で、夫婦の間には心地よいゆったりした空気が流れている

This June, I went to see my friends in Fukushima, for the first time since they had a baby.

they have their own relaxed air to soothe your mind.

いつもステキな笑顔の奥さん

福島弁と純朴な雰囲気がとてもかわいらしい

his wife, with a cute smile
and her dialogue with cozy air makes me feel so comfy.

カメラがわかるのか、娘は常にまっすぐ目線

their beloved baby, always chasing my camera...

彼女はうさぎの人形がとにかくお気に入りだ

little baby loves her little rabbit

美しい緑にかこまれ、青く高い空の下で。
自然のめぐみをおおいに受けて、元気に育って欲しい。

surrounded by beautiful green, under the blue sky,
hope this little life has a healthy, embraced life.
